The South Park Education Foundation supports and strengthens the South Park School District community by encouraging innovation, recognizing excellence, and creating vital partnerships.
ENCOURAGING INNOVATION
The South Park Education Foundation will encourage innovation by awarding grants to South Park teachers and schools. The grants program will expand the opportunities for South Park educators to implement new and effective projects, initiatives, and strategies in their classrooms.
Grant proposals submitted by South Park educators throughout the school year will be reviewed by members of the Foundation’s Grants Committee, a group of educators who will ensure the proposal will make a meaningful and measurable difference for South Park students while also aligning with the South Park School District’s curriculum and educational goals.
RECOGNIZING EXCELLENCE
The South Park Education Foundation will recognize excellence by rewarding outstanding South Park students with scholarships thanks to the contributions of donors and supporters. Each year, a select number of South Park students will be recognized for their accomplishments, service, and character.
Scholarship applications will be shared with the South Park High School Senior Class later this school year. All applications will be reviewed by the South Park Education Foundation’s Scholarship Committee. Scholarships will be awarded prior to graduation.
CREATING VITAL PARTNERSHIPS
The South Park Education Foundation seeks to create vital partnerships which will connect community resources with our schools. By identifying, pursuing, and securing these resources, the South Park Education Foundation will help to enhance the educational experience for all South Park students. An investment in the academic and social needs of today’s students is an investment in our community’s future.
